The Ar-Fang comes in a standard earbud design with stems and in-ear fitting. They have an IPX4 rating, able to withstand water splashes from any direction.
The charging case on the other hand is quite unique, revealing almost the entirety of the earbuds when the lid is opened. In the meantime, the case has no formal rating against dust and water exposure.
For audio, these earbuds pack a 13mm driver on each side. They also have a dual mic setup for environmental noise cancellation during calls.
Meanwhile, these earbids rely on Bluetooth v5.4 to connect with your device, which can be Android, iOS, or Windows.
The Ar-Fang can switch between “Phantom” and “Music” modes. When in former mode, the latency of the earbuds drops as low as 50ms making it ideal for gamers. Other than that, these buds have the “Turbo Sync” technology, which allows earbuds to connect with the recently paired device as soon as the case is opened.
Battery-wise, these earbuds pack 40mAh cells while the charging case has a 300mAh unit. Together, they offer up to 45 hours of playtime. Similarly, the buds independently offer 6 hours of usage.
When out of juice, it takes about 2.5 hours to charge fully. However, a 10-minute quick charge offers 1.5 hours of playback.
